Born and raised in Oakville,  Barbie started at Rainbow Expressions in 1994 as a grade 11 co-op student, and hasn’t looked back.  She has a passion for helping people feel good about themselves from the inside out.  Which means even after all these years, she  still LOVES doing what she does.

By attending hairstyling education classes year-round, she able to stay at the cutting edge of the industry trends. By analyzing what clients want, she is able to create a personalized hairstyle that they love. Long, cascading, gorgeous hair is her specialty. Ample training in hair extensions allows her to give clients with fine hair the voluminous style they’ve always dreamed of.  However short, funky and fun styles get her creative thoughts going and are always welcome too.

Barbie is responsible for training new associates in our comprehensive apprenticeship program as well. Working side-by-side with new stylists, she advises them on all aspects, from cutting, styling and all colouring.  As they move forward and start with their own clientele, she is always on the look out for her next associate.
